I don’t re-work my pictures in Photoshop in an effort to ‘pretty them up’ for this website. The photos you've seen are the same ones that came out of the camera. I was taught that's the only way to do it, the signatures are the only thing I’ve added.

This site only contains recent images; from them you can tell that the majority of my work is within the motorcycle publishing industry. This isn’t necessarily a blinkered personal perspective! These are indeed my most regular clients, though I’m always keen to work within new areas. I specialize in outdoor work so my equipment is all 35mm format (film and digi) for reasonable portability.

Some projects are a day or two, some run on for several months. For me this can mean flying to a location, shooting all day for a weekly publication, making photo selection and either e-mailing the images via FTP or having CD/DVD's ready next morning for the client. As a contrast it could involve selectively shooting over many months to build a library of hundreds of carefully chosen shots for a project like a book.

I absolutely love my work and relish a new challenge. For me photography is about making things look better than they really are. I always attempt to capture my subjects looking faster, cooler, more dangerous, funnier or maybe even more beautiful. It depends on what I’m shooting, but that's basically what's always sprinting through my mind.

If you're in publishing or marketing and want to capture your visuals in a slightly different way, drop me a line. Nobody has regretted it so far…
